Magda is the founder and director of Farandula Arts & Cultural Services, where she is dedicated to designing and producing independent theatre projects that enrich the Francophone cultural landscape of British Columbia and highlight other underrepresented communities, especially the Hispanic community.

She is currently developing a new play that has been chosen for inclusion in the Stand Festival 2026.
These productions demonstrate Magda's talent as an artistic creator and her commitment to cultural diversity.
Roles and Collaborations
Since 2019, Magda has been the artistic director of Le petit théâtre de l’AF, where she stages classical plays from a Latin perspective and facilitates workshops for Francophones and Francophiles.
She has also collaborated with La Boussole de Vancouver on two theatre projects, "De la plume à la scène" (2022) and "SpectActivisme" (2023).
In 2022, she held the position of Francophone Community Outreach Coordinator at Full Circle First Nations Performance, under the leadership of Margo Kane.
From 2023 to 2024, Magda also served as a peer reviewer for the Canada Council for the Arts.
Creative Support and Dramaturgical Expertise
Magda supports creative processes as an advisor and dramaturge, bringing her expertise to a range of artistic projects.
Public Speaking Workshop Facilitation
Since 2024, Magda has been facilitating public speaking workshops for visual artists within the Francophone community, as well as at Emily Carr University as part of the Art Talks in Plain English program.
As an actress, she is a full member of UBCP/ACTRA and is represented by Trisko Talent.
Anna Salas
Actress, acting instructor & Video producer.
Stage creator and playwright with more than 30 years of experience. Throughout her career she has acted in more than twenty plays in all genres.
She studied acting at the National School of Theater Art of the INBA. In 2018 she completed the Certificate in Theatricality, Body and Contemporary Textualities at the 17th Institute of Critical Studies.
She obtained a Master's degree in Theatre and Performing Arts from the International University of La Rioja in 2020.
She studied directing actors with Pawell Novicki; she has training in Clown and Cabaret Creation
She has also worked in film, commercial and cultural TV as both an actress and host. Represented by Trisko Talent Management in Vancouver where she has participated as a choreographer and actress with Le Petit Théâtre AF Vancouver, with Farádula Theatre in the play Do You Know How to Swim? and with Teatro Consentido in the play No More Lies, both in her presentations for Culture Days 2023. In 2021 she directed for video theater the project of the stories of Hebert Poll Gutierrez Emi Lará, Calgary.
A stage director for 17 years and passionate about the actor's work, she is also an acting coach and has included experimentation processes in her projects.
Since 2014 she has participated in the acting training seminars of maestro Fernando Piernas that have allowed her to deepen and perfect herself in conducting actors. She has taught workshops in Mexico, Uruguay and Vancouver.
